A Nicaraguan Wedding

A few weeks I ago I went down to Nicaragua for my brother’s wedding and a Thanksgiving celebration with the family. My brother Jeff, who moved to Nicaragua about 7 years ago, works down there doing real estate, home construction, and helping out at his friends surfing and fishing camp. This trip was my 7th time down to the Central American country but it was certainly special. My brother was getting married and I was to be best man. It was also the first time enjoying Nicaragua with my Mom and Dad who flew down from Pensacola. The trip started off with Jeff and Karina’s beautiful wedding in the capital city of Managua. The day after the wedding a whole crew of us made our way out to the beach to relax before the Thanksgiving.

That week I found myself surfing a lot and spending time just hanging with my parents. I brought my camera with me to the tide pools with my Dad, around town with my Mom, and anytime we drove for a surf. I tried to stop in towns for pictures and even pulled double duty as the best man/back-up photographer at the wedding! A big congratulations goes out to my big brother Jeff and my new sister-in-law Karina! I had a really great time taking all these photos and can’t thank everyone enough who was around that week in Nicaragua. Also last but not least, I really hope those baby turtles we saw hatch are living amazing lives in ocean!

Just loved seeing the pictures. Your photography is magnificent, Brian. Some of those shots could be framed they are so beautiful. It was fun to see the family. I see your Dad occasionally but I guess your Mom is still working. Keep up the good work and give my regards to Jeff and his bride.
